Join us for the 150th Anniversary St. Albans Raid Commemoration Mayor’s Ball on Saturday, September 20, 2014, 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. at the St. Albans Historical Museum, Bliss Room in St. Albans, Vermont. Run Like Bandits through Downtown St. Albans! A volley of gunfire signals a throng of mask-wearing runners to hit the streets, running the same route the bandits took in October1864 after robbing the St. Albans Bank, the Franklin County Bank and First National Bank during the Raid on St. Albans. Welcome Home Dance
In commemoration of the return of the Civil War soldiers from St. Albans during the summer of 1865. Victorian Dance Ensemble from Pennsylvania will provide the Dance Master and floor manager. Civil War period attire encouraged or modern attire with white gloves is requested. A Dance Practice will be held from 3PM to 4PM. Donation of $10 per person payable at the door.
